This Privacy Policy explains how JaenX (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and safeguards information in connection with the JaenX platform — a WhatsApp Cloud API automation service that enables businesses to build automated conversation flows for appointment booking, commerce, ordering, lead capture, and customer support (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Our use and transfer of information received from Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.
1. Who This Policy Covers
- Business users — businesses and their staff who register for and use the JaenX dashboard.
- End customers — individuals who message a business through WhatsApp and interact with JaenX-powered automated flows.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: name, email address, phone number, business name, and login credentials of business users.
- WhatsApp Account Information: end-customer phone number, WhatsApp display name, and profile photo (if available).
- Business Configuration: connected WhatsApp Business Account details, phone number IDs, product catalogs, and the automation flows you create.
- Order & Transaction Data: items added to cart, orders placed, appointment bookings, and form responses (but not card/bank details).
- Chat Interactions: messages exchanged with the WhatsApp chatbot or support team within automated flows.
- Technical Data: logs such as timestamps, IP address, device information, and browser or app version.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To run automated flows and deliver and receive WhatsApp messages.
- To sync a business’s product catalog to its Meta catalog and present products inside WhatsApp conversations.
- With the business’s authorization, to log conversion events (such as lead, add-to-cart, purchase, and appointment) that occur inside flows and send them to Meta so the business can measure and optimize its WhatsApp / Click-to-WhatsApp advertising.
- To authenticate users, provide customer support, and send service notifications.
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- To analyze aggregated usage and improve our features and reliability.
4. Meta / WhatsApp Permissions We Use
When a business connects its WhatsApp Business Account, JaenX may request the following permissions, used only for the purposes described:
- — send and receive messages in automated flows.
- — manage WhatsApp Business Account assets the user administers.
- — create and update the business’s own product catalog used in WhatsApp commerce.
- — log conversion and engagement events from flows and send them to Meta for the business’s ads targeting, optimization, and reporting.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information with:
- Meta (WhatsApp): to deliver messages, sync catalogs, and log events as part of using the WhatsApp Cloud API.
- The relevant business: end-customer conversation data is made available to the business the customer messaged.
- Service Providers: hosting, infrastructure, and payment processors who act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal Authorities: if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as your account is active and as necessary for providing the Service, fulfilling legal obligations, or resolving disputes, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.
7. Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all dashboard and API traffic.
- Authentication via secure tokens and tenant isolation so each business’s data is segregated.
- Access controls limiting staff access to data on a need-to-know basis.
8. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccuracies, disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account at any time, or request deletion of your data.

9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
